I won’t hire people who use poor grammar- Here’s why.

With today’s social media language on Facebook and twitter, it’s hard to use proper grammar. Words like xaxa, xema, hi, waz up, are all the norm these days. However, using proper grammar might put you ahead of the pack, and indicate that you are more trustworthy.

JAB lowers universities cut-off points.

The Joint Admissions Board- JAB, has lowered the cut off points for the 2012 KCSE students to 61 points (B grade) for male students and 59 (B- grade) points for female students. For the 2011 candidates, the cut off points were 63 and 61 points for male and female students respectively. Students who have a disability will be admitted, as long as they get a C+ grade. Equally, students from marginalized and arid areas with a C+ and above will also be admitted.

President Kenyatta offers full scholarship to Drama Festival star, Daniel Owira.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has offered full education sponsorship to Daniel Owira, the form two Highway Secondary School student who moved the audience to tears during the Kenya National Drama Festival State concert in Mombasa.
